Jess James Figueroa (now performing as Figueroa) is a seasoned New York City hip-hop artist, music producer, and audio engineer with deep roots in the underground scene.
Throughout a career spanning over two decades, he has been a pillar of the legendary End of the Weak (EOW) collective, where he serves as a dynamic host, performer, and DJ for NYC’s longest-running weekly open mic.

A key figure at the "Idea Factory," Figueroa's artistic profile is built on his multi-hyphenate talent—seamlessly shifting from crafting technical, hard-hitting beats to commanding the stage as an MC and DJ alongside elite collaborators like Nems, Vice Verses, and Agallah.

The Partnership
The artistic partnership between Jess Jamez Figueroa and Prolific Wone is a foundational element of the New York underground scene, rooted in the legendary End of the Weak (EOW) collective. Recognizing Figueroa’s sharp production talent early on at the EOW MC Challenge, Prolific Wone tapped him to produce several tracks for his debut LP, Deep Blue.
This synergy has evolved over years of creative collaboration, resulting in standout releases like the gritty single "C'mon Schun"—notable for its iconic Lecrue Eyebrows artwork—and the emotionally resonant track "Laugh It Hurts" from the In The Red album.
Today, the duo continues their long-standing professional bond, frequently appearing together as the powerhouse host and DJ team for the EODub world-renowned MC Challenge.
