Zilla Clarke The
Heavyweight Champ

Nicoy "Zilla" Clarke is a powerhouse multi-hyphenate based in Jersey City, widely recognized as the "Fighting Schoolteacher." As a professional heavyweight boxer and two-time New Jersey Golden Gloves Champion, Clarke brings the same explosive energy to the ring that he does to his 20-year career as a dedicated special education teacher.

Beyond the ring and the classroom, his creative identity as Zilla shines through a vibrant musical catalog. His sound is a high-octane fusion of hip-hop, reggae, and Jamaican patois, delivering rhythmic anthems that reflect his resilience and cultural roots. Whether he’s coaching the next generation or dropping new tracks, Zilla Clarke stands as a true community icon, bridging the worlds of athletics, education, and urban music.

The Partnership

The story of "Nice and Easy" is a full-circle moment for the End of the Weak family. Long before the studio sessions, the foundation was laid at the legendary EOW sessions, where Prolific Wone, as a founder and host, presided over the culture that Zilla consistently set ablaze. Zilla wasn't just another MC on the list; he was a crowd favorite whose energy and heavy-hitting presence made him a staple of the movement.

Decades of mutual respect and shared stage time finally crystallized into "Nice and Easy." The collaboration feels like a natural conversation between two pillars of the scene—Wone’s visionary direction meeting Zilla’s signature rhythmic power.

It’s more than just a track; it’s the sound of two EOW icons taking that raw, open-mic chemistry and turning it into a polished anthem that honors their shared history in the trenches of the culture.
