JT LISS | The
Visual Poet

J.T. Liss is a New York-based surrealist digital collage artist and poet who transforms street photography into complex "visual poems." By layering up to 30 individual images, he creates narrative-driven works that explore themes of social justice, spirituality, and human resilience. His unique aesthetic has led to high-profile collaborations with Grammy-winning musicians like Lalah Hathaway and Keyon Harrold, bridging the gap between fine art and the global music industry.

Beyond his creative practice, Liss is a leader in the digital art world as the President of Exchange Art and the founder of Photography for Social Change. Through his exhibitions and initiatives, he uses his platform to raise awareness and funds for grassroots non-profits.

The Partnership

The collaboration between photographic artist J.T. Liss and Prolific Wone is a masterclass in atmospheric storytelling, where rhythmic lyricism meets high-concept photographic art. Their partnership first caught fire with the "3 of Hearts" single, featuring cover art that translates the track’s soulful, introspective energy into a vibrant digital collage. By layering urban textures with a sophisticated color palette, Liss captures the pulse of the streets, perfectly mirroring the smooth yet sharp delivery Prolific Wone is known for.

This synergy laid the groundwork for their evolution into the "In the Red" album era, a project that solidified their status as a powerhouse duo in the New York creative scene.

The "In the Red" project further cemented their vision, resulting in a bold album cover and two highly sought-after limited collectible merch drops. These exclusive releases—consisting strictly of premium graphic tees and hoodies—transformed the album's visual identity into a wearable experience for fans. By blending limited edition streetwear with gallery-grade aesthetics, J.T. Liss and Prolific Wone created a unique collector’s market where hip-hop culture and modern photography collide.Their joint ventures prove that when music and visual art share the same DNA, the result is more than a product—it’s a lasting cultural statement.
