This project is a personal milestone for me, predating the Deep Blue LP. I originally pressed this as a physical CD to capture a very specific vibe—a raw blend of traditional Hip Hop and the atmospheric textures of Trip Hop.

The mixtape is a true 50/50 split: half of the project features my own original songs, while the other half consists of remixes where I took music from artists like DJ Shadow, Portishead, RJD2, Massive Attack, DJ Frane, and Prefuse 73. Their work inspired me to reinterpret and express myself over their production, allowing me to merge their sounds with my own lyrical perspective.
