The Partnership

Skirmish brings a razor-sharp lyrical precision to the God En Man project. Operating out of Lab 79—the influential sound studio and creative collective he anchors alongside Manage—Skirmish has been a driving force in defining the gritty, authentic sound of London rap.

His contribution to the album reaches a cinematic peak on the lead single "Cooking Slow," where his elite wordplay bridges the gap between UK and NYC culture.

The collaboration reached a historic milestone during the filming of the "Cooking Slow" music video, shot on location in the heart of London. Directed by Jimmy Chiba, the visual captured the first time Skirmish and Prolific Wone connected in person, turning years of mutual respect within the global End of the Weak community into a powerful cross-continental alliance.

As a cornerstone of the Lab 79 movement, Skirmish continues to uphold the high standards of independent hip hop, proving that the bond between New York and London is stronger than ever.
