Gee Bag | The Freestyle Veteran
Gee Bag is a South London MC and longtime figure in the UK underground Hip Hop scene. Born Gavin Shaw, he began his solo career in 2005 after performing with the group 35 Above and has continued to build his reputation through independent releases, collaborations, and live performance.
Known for his sharp freestyle ability and commanding live presence, Gee Bag has become a respected voice within London’s independent MC culture.
His connection to the End of the Weak community has also placed him within a wider international network of freestyle, battle, and underground Hip Hop artists.
The Partnership
Gee Bag’s contribution to DANGEROUS connects the album to the freestyle and battle-oriented culture that has long defined London’s underground MC community.
A two-time End of the Weak England champion, Gee Bag has represented the UK in international competition and remains closely connected to the network of artists surrounding EOW England. His history alongside artists including Apex Zero and Mas Law places him within the same creative community that helped shape the transatlantic foundation of DANGEROUS.
Gee Bag’s role in the film series extends that collaboration beyond the recording studio. He traveled from London to New York City to shoot “Sat Earn Day Night,” the final song and closing chapter of the eight-part film series, with scenes filmed together in both NYC and London.
The cross-Atlantic production mirrors the larger vision of DANGEROUS—bringing artists from two cities into the same cinematic world and allowing the story to unfold across both sides of the Atlantic. His appearance in the final film makes Gee Bag part of the closing movement of the series, connecting the London and New York chapters as the story reaches its conclusion.
His appearance on DANGEROUS adds another voice from that lineage to the project’s final chapter.
